Caregiver Support Program
The Caregiver Support Program offers support to:
- Non-paid caregivers of older adults age 60+ who have a demonstrated need for home care assistance.
- Non-paid parents or relatives 55 years or older caring for an adult child who has disabilities and a demonstrated need for home care assistance.
- Kinship caregivers 55 years or older who are caring full-time for minor child and are not the biological parents.
Program Services include:
- Adult Day Services
- Caregiver Counseling
- Durable Medical Equipment
- Incontinent Supplies
- Kinship Support Services
- Respite services
To enroll, caregivers must call Senior Options
to complete a confidential assessment to identify service need, determine eligibility and to coordinate services.
The National Family Caregiver Support Program is funded by the Older American’s Act through the Ohio Department of Aging.
The Franklin County Office on Aging receives a grant contract from this funding through the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging
to administer the Caregiver Support Program.
