Kinship Support Program
Are you caring for a minor child because their parents are unable to do so?
The Kinship Support Program offers support to kinship caregivers fifty-five years of age or older who are providing full-time care to a minor child whose
parents are unable to do so.
Program Services include:
- Appliances
- Caregiver Counseling
- Diapers & Pull-ups
- Durable Medical Equipment
- Mattress Sets
To enroll, kinship caregivers must call Senior Options at (614) 525-6200
to complete an over the phone confidential assessment to identify service need, determine eligibility and to coordinate services.
The National Family Caregiver Support Program is funded by the Older American’s Act through the Ohio Department of Aging. The Franklin County Office on
Aging receives a grant contract from this funding through the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging to administer the Caregiver Support Program.
