COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Everyone ages 5 and older can now get vaccinated against COVID-19. COVID-19 vaccines are effective at helping protect against severe disease and death from the virus that causes COVID-19, including known variants currently circulating (e.g., Delta variant).

FREE HOME DELIVERED MEALS EXTENDED THROUGH MARCH 31, 2022

Franklin County residents 60 and over are eligible to receive home delivered meals now through March 31, 2022 without income verification. To request the meals and other available services, call 614-525-6200, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Child Tax Credit Sign-up Tool

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 includes a historic temporary investment in the Child Tax Credit (CTC), expanding both its size and its eligibility guidelines in 2021 and offering a new delivery option in the form of advance monthly payments. If all eligible families file for the credit, child poverty will be cut nearly in half during 2021. An online Non-filer Sign-up tool is available to help eligible families who don't normally file tax returns register for the payments.

Your Mental Wellbeing Library

Franklin County has launched the https://franklincountyohio.crediblemind.com website which focuses on mental health and well-being to help residents sort through life’s challenges. This online mental health resource was developed in collaboration with Franklin County health and human services agencies and the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County (ADAMH). A mental health assessment is also available. See the link below for more information.

Office on Aging Day with the Columbus Clippers

Join us Thursday, September 2nd, for Franklin County Office on Aging Day with the Columbus Clippers! Gates open at 11:00 a.m. and game time is 12:05 p.m. as the Columbus Clippers host the St. Paul Saints. Fans aged 60 and over attending the event will be treated to reduced ticket prices of just $5.00 for reserved seats and $4.00 for bleacher seats, a boxed lunch and special door prizes. Tickets must be purchased in advance. See order form for details.
